I've got to say I was really impressed whit this Bluetooth speaker. Not of the colors or the digital design, but the volume. The versatility of being able to separate the speakers to give you stereo sound. It has great sound volume but when listening to Bass heavy music like rap at max volume it starts to become distorted. Back down the volume and it clears up. It also has lights on either end that glow with the beat of the music which is a nice touch. It's heavy but not too heavy to become cumbersome when carried. It was a bit of a pain to connect to Bluetooth because it shows up as 3 entries all with the same name. So after trying to connect it ended up being the last on the list. You have to charge these individually which can be a pain. It would have been nice to see a pass through electrical connection that way I only have to have 1 plugged in and both speakers charge. The twist off has a strong locking connection but, it's plastic and eventually I feel the plastic will fatigue and the locking mechanism will eventually fail. I think if they added a few embedded rubber bits that would help to prolong the life of the mechanism. It fills a small - midsized room in an average house with ample music. I dare say it would be enough for a regular cab truck or subcompact sedan. At $130 I think that price is pushing it a little. Maybe $100 would be a better price.
The Mega Twin Bluetooth speaker has been a fantastic addition to my music setup. The 20W output delivers surprisingly strong, clear sound with good bass for a portable speaker. It handles both indoor and outdoor spaces well, and pairing via Bluetooth is quick and hassle-free.The 11-hour battery life is accurate — I can enjoy a full day of music without recharging. I also appreciate the AUX compatibility for devices that don’t have Bluetooth, and the RGB lights add a fun, customizable vibe that makes it great for parties or casual ambiance.Portable, durable, and fun, this speaker really delivers both performance and style. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a versatile speaker with extra flair.
This speaker really impressed me for its size. The sound quality is clear and surprisingly full, with bass that holds up well even at higher volumes. Connectivity is smooth, pairing instantly without drops, and the AUX option adds flexibility. The control buttons are responsive and easy to use, making it simple to adjust on the fly. Battery life easily lasts through a full day, close to the 11-hour mark, and the RGB lighting is a fun extra that gives it personality without draining power too quickly. It feels well made and durable, and overall, I think the value is excellent for a portable speaker that combines strong performance with a fun light show. That they split apart is cool, but also highly functional.
This is a pretty groovy speaker. And I'm not just talking about its 70s design or ability to make you move. It really is a nice true stereo system. It's definitely made to be placed in two locations. That's what makes it so good. The ability to join into one, fit in a backpack, and then twist apart and place in two locations for a more stereophonic sound is excellent. You don't realize how monotone a singular speaker system is, even if it has multiple speakers on it, because it's coming from a singular zone. I haven't used it to the limit of its battery yet, but it can handle multiple hours of playtime easily. TLDR; This, while not being much different in a singular setup, greatly expands into a true Stereo system when split apart. And it is nice and loud. I think it's a great portable setup and would be surprised to find something that was this portable and powerful.
Stromberg - Mega Twin 2 in 1 - Portable Bluetooth Speaker, 20W Power.Great base and stereo sound! I Love that you can separate them to get a better stereo effect. They can also be used individually on two separate devices(in Mono), it's like you get two speakers for the price of one, or just keep them combined on one device for better sound. These have a built-in FM receiver, though the instructions are lacking on how to use it. Each speaker has it's own receiver, so to use it it, you must tune in separately on each speaker. Note, however, that it will not be in stereo, rather each speaker is a separate mono sound source. The process is 1) insert a usb C cable into each speaker(to use as an antenna) they do not have to be plugged into a power source. 2) hold down both "+" and "-" buttons simultaneously for a few seconds to switch to FM Mode. 3) press the power button momentarily to start to scan for radio stations, and then press the power button again to stop the scan on the station you want (you have to be quick, before it starts to continue the scan. Repeat steps 2 & 3 for the second speaker, stopping on the same station. There is no visual indication of frequency or radio station. Note that the speakers do not communicate with each other unless you are using Bluetooth, so if you want to use the Aux input, you need to to use a splitter cord so you can connect the input into both speakers. However, standard cables, you will not get stereo sound, you would need a special cable configuration to send the left/right audio to the appropriate speaker.I have the Stromberg Mini Twin speakers, and the Mega Twin has significantly better sound, at the cost of the size difference.
